2022 HOSTS NEEDED
We need additional host congregations for our meetings. Please contact Jim Pope, the Secretary, to sign up.
The news has everyone in a frenzy stating that we need to purchase gifts now because there won’t be anything left come mid-November. Here’s a novel idea. Maybe we shouldn’t worry about the material things. Maybe we should just be grateful for the gift of family, friends, our health, a warm home, food on the table, memories, etc. The list goes on and on of what we have to be grateful for that doesn’t come with a price tag. Maybe this is God’s way of telling us it’s time for a good old-fashioned Christmas! (Copied)
REPORT ON NEW CHURCH PLANT
Elevate Christian Church launched in Lexington, KY, on September 12. We have had a steady increase in faithful people joining us over these past few weeks. We started in our pre-services with around thirty people who came together to plant a new church. We now, after eight weeks, have about seventy people joining us in worship every week. Out of those seventy people, fifteen of them are under the age of ten. Through partnerships and tithing, God has been faithful to move us closer to being a self-sufficient church. Church planting doesn’t happen with just a few, but it requires an entire army of churches supporting and praying over this community. If you want to find out more about helping church planting, contact Rob@ElevateLex.Church. If you want to find out more about Elevate, visit our website at ElevateLex.Church.
I’M TOO BUSY TO GO TO CHURCH
The average church time in America is just about 90 minutes to 2 hours a week for a total of about 4 days in attendance time an entire year. The average American spent 2 hours a day watching Netflix in 2020. That’s about six hundred hours or approximately 25 days a year. We are not too busy! (Copied)
NO MEETING AND NO NEWSLETTER
There will be no meeting in December and no published newsletter. There will be periodic updates on the website. Check it out at www.kymenforchrist.org.

A FAMILY PRAYER
Lord, behold our family here assembled.
We thank you for this place in which we dwell For the love that unites us.
For the peace accorded us this day.
For the hope with which we expect the morrow.
For the work, the health, the food, and bright skies that make our lives delightful.
For our friends in all parts of the earth. Amen
