In May 2011, in an effort to reduce postage expenses, MFC began distributing The Builder via e-mail. There are currently 170 e-mail subscribers and 165 regular mail subscribers. With the recent U.S postage cost rising to 66 cents, it would be financially beneficial if more of the 165 regular mail subscribers considered switching to an e-mail subscription. This would save not only postage but paper, envelopes, toner, and labor! If you are able to switch to email, please contact email@example.com to provide your name, e-mail address and phone number.
ANOTHER NEWSLETTER OPTION
The Builder is also available each month under the NEWS section of our website at
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Serving on the Executive Committee is both challenging and rewarding. The essential positions involve more than getting to the front of the meal line! Members give up fellowship time with friends as they hurriedly eat while conducting MFC business. The reward is in knowing you are assisting MFC in our mission to promote Christian Fellowship and the strengthening and establishment of churches after the New Testament pattern. It will soon be time to select some new committee members. If asked to serve, please prayerfully consider your response.
John Davis’ new book, Seeing the Unseen God, is available at Westminster Books. John serves as Senior Minister at Columbia Chistian. For ordering details, see www.wtsbooks.com.
THE GOOD OLD DAYS!
Each of us have seen numerous changes in methods of communication. We no longer live in the days of the Pony Express! The technological world is changing daily and in spite of our resistance to change, it becomes essential for us to make an effort to adapt.
UPDATING OF WEBSITE
Recently the major use of the MFC website has been to post a copy of the monthly newsletter. Plans are in the works for renovation of the website which will expand the communication tools available to our members and member churches. In the interim, if your church is planning an event and would like it to be listed on the NEWS section of the website, please send the information well in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org. Contact and verification information must be included.

“Even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”
“God is just as concerned about your usability as your ability.”
